Roofing lead generation after a storm: a working playbook
The company that calls first after a storm books the inspections. Here is how we run it: list within a day, callers on it within three, a lead manager chasing the claim, and texts for the homeowners who don't pick up.
In this guide
Day 0–1: the list
Storm path and hail swath cross-referenced with home age, ownership and equity, skip-traced. Older roofs, longer ownership and owner-occupied first.
Day 1–3: calling
Scripts written for the homeowner who has never filed a claim and for the one who has had three roofers at the door already. The ask is an inspection, not a sale. Existing accounts with a new territory go live same day; new accounts in three business days.
Inspection to contract: the lead manager
Confirm the inspection, coordinate the adjuster meeting, chase the documents, follow up the supplement. This stretch is where roofing pipelines leak, and it's a full-time job after a real storm.
Texting the ones who don't answer
Photo requests, inspection reminders and claim updates by SMS, on the same list the callers work. Quoted on volume.
