Real estate cold calling benchmarks, Q4 2026
The numbers we manage to, from the campaigns we run for investors, wholesalers and agents. Averages across accounts, not guarantees; your list, market and follow-up move every one of them. Updated each quarter.

The benchmarks
| Metric | Benchmark | What moves it |
|---|---|---|
| Dials per conversation | 8 to 11 | List quality, caller-ID health, time of day. Above 15, the list or the numbers are the problem, not the caller. |
| Ramp to consistent output | 60 to 90 days | Script fit, how fast feedback reaches the caller, list refresh cadence. |
| Contracts per dedicated caller | About 1 a month after ramp | Follow-up speed on warm leads, offer quality, market. The caller produces conversations; the contract is closed by your acquisitions process. |
| Dialer cost if bought separately | About $370 a month | ReadyMode IQ with assisted spam remediation. Included in every Valtiera engagement. |
| Time to live dialing | 3 business days | From agreement, with your list and a scoped script. |
These are averages across accounts over the last quarter. Some callers produce two or three contracts a month in a good market with tight follow-up; some produce one every other month on a thin list. Nobody can promise the middle number, and anyone who does is pricing in your disappointment.
How to use them
- Hold a new caller to dials and conversations in month one, leads in month two, contracts from month three
- If dials per conversation drifts above 15, audit the list and the caller IDs before coaching the caller
- If conversations are on benchmark and contracts are not, look at follow-up time on warm leads first
- Compare vendors on the same four lines; a quote without them is a price without a product
How we measure
Every call is recorded and scored daily. Dials, connects, conversations and leads come straight from the dialer; contracts are reported by the client. We publish the quarter's averages here and refresh them each quarter, so the date in the title is part of the number.
Questions people ask
Are these guaranteed?
No. They are averages across our campaigns and they vary by list, market and follow-up. We do not guarantee leads or contracts, and we would be cautious about a vendor who does.
How many dials does a caller make a day?
Enough to generate the conversations above; the exact count depends on the dialer's line count and the list. We manage to conversations and leads, not raw dials.
Why 60 to 90 days of ramp?
A new caller needs reps on your script and objections, and the list needs one or two refresh cycles. Output in weeks one to four is real but not yet steady.
Where do these numbers come from?
ReadyMode IQ reporting and daily QA across Valtiera's active real estate accounts, averaged for the quarter.
